Something of a Bio

I’m confess. Despite what I ever envisioned for my life, I’m an entrepreneur.  After spending 10 years as a professional with the Boy Scouts of America, and another eight years as a manager at the Georgia Department of Revenue, I finally broke out on my own in 2007 and started my own business.

My primary business, Tax Traxx (www.taxtraxx.com) provides Sales and Use tax services to business all over the country. We currently prepare Sales and Use tax returns for a single client in 45 states. That client happens to be a manufacturer, but Tax Traxx also provides Sales and Use tax services and Alchol and Tobacco licensing for bars, restaurants, convenience stores and other retail businesses in Georgia.

My newest venture is called Tweet Traxx (www.tweettraxx.com). Tweet Traxx provides support for businesses to venture into the world of social networking, by providing them tools to increase their followers in Twitter, fans in Facebook, etc. We make it easy and affordable to drive new traffic. Our best deal for our clients is to Tweet Coupons for them on a regularly scheduled basis.

I still do some volunteer work with the Boy Scouts. Last year, I served as Course Director to Tali Atsila, an advanced outdoor skills leader training course. My wife and I live in Johns Creek, GA (just north of Atlanta) with our two cool children (a four year old and a second grader).
