More about Todd:
I’ll confess. Despite what I ever envisioned for my life, I’m an entrepreneur. After spending 10 years as a professional with the Boy Scouts of America, and another eight years as a manager at the Georgia Department of Revenue, I finally broke out on my own in 2007 and started my own business.
My primary business, Tax Traxx (www.taxtraxx.com) firstname.lastname@example.org provides Sales and Use tax services to business all over the country. We currently prepare Sales and Use tax returns for a single client in 45 states. That client happens to be a manufacturer, but Tax Traxx also provides Sales and Use tax services and Alchol and Tobacco licensing for bars, restaurants, convenience stores and other retail businesses in Georgia.
My newest venture is called Big Rock Publishing (www.bigrockpubs.com ) email@example.com Big Rock Publishing will be a safe haven for unpublished authors, who have not been able to get their work pubished through the traditional publishing channels. We will offer new authors blog space, a community of others writers, an opportunity to publish ebooks (at little or no cost) or to publish hardbound or paperback editions of their work. We will be a distirbutor of many genres, including, but not limited to History, Fiction, Military Sci-Fi, Self-Help, Business and Marketing, and others.
Some early projects include “Wrestling, The Middle School Way”, written by Darryl Ellrott (www.dellrott.wordpress.com), who was recently inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. Darryl is also the Executive Editor for Big Rock Publishing and a part owner of the company.
This summer, we will be publishing nearly a hundred Centennial Big Rock Editions of early 20th Century books that celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. These are fiction works that have been out of print for more than 80 years and describe the early scouting program.
If you are an author, writer, or poet, or if you have a special skill that you would like to share with the world, we’d be glad to help you discover your inner Hemingway.
I still do some volunteer work with the Boy Scouts. My wife and I live in Johns Creek, GA (just north of Atlanta) with our two cool children (a five year old and a second grader).
